Sector Leaders (SL)
Sector leaders have delegated authority to direct operations in their domain with regard to child protection management. Child Protection Teams
Towards Healing Consultative Committee A diocesan panel established to advise the Head of Agency in relation to specific complaints of abuse against Church personnel. This committee meets monthly and consists of the Head of Agency, the Child Protection Delegate, Sector Leaders, a Legal Advisor and a Psychological Advisor.
The Child Protection Safeguarding Panel is composed of the Head of Agency, Child Protection Delegate, Safeguarding Children Officer, Sector Leaders and Clergy Advisor. This panel meets monthly to review Safeguarding systems and processes for responding to allegations and systems for preventing reportable conduct and to plan future action.
Child Protection Officers: (CPO) Employee Services Professional Officers who are designated to conduct day-to-day operations related to compliance with the Act, including setting up investigations and completing notifications. Child Protection Safeguarding Team The Child Protection Safeguarding Team is composed of the Child Protection Delegate, the Safeguarding Children Officer, the Diocesan Financial Administrator and Employee Services Professional Officers.
